Inspiring Evening of Connection, Purpose, and Empowerment Set for May 27 at Hungry’s in Rice Village

The Ladies Lifestyle Network will host an inspiring evening for women on Wednesday, May 27 at 5:30 PM at Hungry's in Rice Village with the theme: “From Stuck to Unstoppable.”

The evening will feature keynote presenter Theresa Roemer — internationally known entrepreneur, philanthropist, fitness expert, motivational speaker, author, and creator of the world’s largest closet — who will share powerful insights on resilience, reinvention, business growth, confidence, and stepping boldly into purpose despite adversity and setbacks.

Joining Roemer as a special guest will be Shelly Willwee, President and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Willwee is recognized for her leadership in helping bring hope, encouragement, and life-changing experiences to children facing critical illnesses and their families. Her work through Make-A-Wish has impacted countless lives by creating moments of joy, inspiration, and emotional healing during some of life’s most difficult seasons. Her presence at the event will highlight the power of compassion, community impact, and purpose-driven leadership.

Featured guest for the evening will also include Chelsea Edwards of “Chattin’ with Chelsea” on FOX 26 Houston. Known for her energetic personality, engaging interviews, and positive connection with the Houston community, Edwards has become a familiar and uplifting media voice throughout the region. Through her segment “Chattin’ with Chelsea,” she spotlights influential people, inspiring stories, local businesses, entertainment, and community happenings across Houston. Her participation in the event brings an exciting media and community engagement component to the evening.

The event is hosted by Donna Wick, CEO of DW OMNIMEDIA LLC and City Director for the Ladies Lifestyle Network, who says the gatherings are designed to be much more than traditional networking events.
